Northdown and Dashwood Surgery Merger Important Update

The merge of Northdown Surgery and Dashwood Medical Centre is progressing successfully.

Subsequently, we are reopening the Anima request service at 8am on Monday (8th).

NHS App, Patient Access, MyGP App and others

Following the merge of clinical systems at Northdown Surgery and Dashwood Medical Centre, some patients will have lost access to their medical apps.

NHS App users who setup their account with a video or photo ID as verification should see that their accounts have automatically updated. If you access hasn’t changed, no action is required.

If you no longer have access, NHS App users who didn’t setup accounts with video or photo ID, will find that the app does not automatically update. You will need to request online access here and then delete your NHS login and setup a new one.

You will be asked to login, manage your NHS account; Delete your NHS login. Then install the NHS App again selecting Northdown Surgery – this is in the process of changing to Northdown and Dashwood Surgery but takes time.

MyGP App, Patient Access and others, will require patients to uninstall and reinstall the app.
